Shipping & Returns

If ordering from, or emailing us,please put our email address in your contacts list to ensure our emails do not go in to your Junk files, and do check your junk/spam files to see if our email has been sent there, if you are expecting an email from us that has not arrived.  We do not, and have never, sent out unsolicited, marketing emails.

 

Ordering from us is safe, secure and easy.

If ordering from outside of the UK please note that local taxes may apply, on delivery.

Your payment details will be held on the Opayo (previously Sagepay) secure site while they are confirmed, and the order authorised.

 

Once your details have been verified you will be advised that the order has been completed and you will receive your order confirmation

We accept all major debit and credit cards, which are authorised and processed by the secure, external Payment Gateway, Opayo (previously Sagepay), for your peace of mind and security. We do not see or store your card details.



If you wish to pay by Bank Transfer please contact us in the first instance.



We shall then process and send you your Order. If any items are out of stock, which would be unusual, you will be notified, at which time you can choose to cancel the order or wait for its later delivery if applicable.

Shipping and Handling

 

The normal flat rate delivery charge for mainland UK is £4.95. Non UK mainland delivery costs and heavy /bulky delivery charges will be the actual postage / courier cost and will be charged separately, before despatch. You will be contacted via email, to advise you of the extra charge and to receive your consent.

 

We currently use Royal Mail's Signed for service, which includes their Track and Trace system (based on UK service) and DPD Local Courier Service, at our discretion. If you need us to use a next day service, please do advise, so we can arrange this for you and charge the additional, actual cost if appropriate. 

 

Overseas orders will incur the below flat fee delivery charges for Royal Mail's "International Track & Sign for" service. An extra charge will be made for any item/s costing more than this. The extra cost charged for International orders and non-mainland orders will be the actual shipping cost and will be charged to your card at the time of shipping. The cost will be advised prior to shipping, for your acceptance. If the item being sent is lighter, so that the P&P cost is much less than this flat fee, we shall refund the difference at our discretion. Please ask for details. Local taxes may apply for orders being sent outside of the UK.

We may pass on your mobile number or email address to the Courier company (DPD), if using them for orders over 2kgs. This is so that they can use their Predict service, advising you when your parcel is due to arrive. However, if you do not wish us to do this, please advise on placing your order.

 

Please note that if the carrier service used are unable to deliver an order, after their standard, reasonable attempt, the actual extra shipping cost will be charged to the customer, on top of the flat fee paid for the original delivery, before we can arrange to re-send the item to them. If a Courier company was used, their actual charge to return the parcel to us will also have to be charged on to the customer. Please email us for details. Please therefore ensure that suitable arrangements are made to receive the goods. Thank you for your kind understanding.
 

 

Order Tracking

 

We will always aim to meet the quoted delivery times, however, sometimes problems can occur which are outside of our control. If you are experiencing late delivery of your order, over the stated delivery times, please do track your parcel, by using the tracking reference given, to avoid it being sent back to us on a missed delivery and incurring additional postage costs. You may contact us if you have a problem tracking the parcel and we will endeavour to help trace the parcel, using the Royal Mail (or other courier service) tracking number or by contacting the Carrier. Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for any parcels once they have left our control and, should an order go missing, we will not be able to pass on compensation until an investigation has taken place and compensation has been received from the Carrier, if applicable. Compensation paid will be limited to the amount received from the Carrier.

 

Delivery

 

We will endeavour to prepare your order within 1-2 working day of its receipt and for you to receive your order within the following 1-4 working days, however, please allow up to 5 days, depending on which service is used. If you need an urgent delivery, please do advise so we can arrange this for you if possible.

 

We do hold all items shown, in stock,  however the website may not reflect all current sales. If an item is temporarily out of stock please contact us for information or to place an advance order for this item. If the item is no longer available or sold out we shall advise you by email or phone. If you would rather not wait, please feel free to cancel your order by contacting us.

If you see any signs of damage, please make a written note of this with the carrier when you sign for the parcel, and notify us immediately by email (within 1 day so that a claim may be made against the carrier company).



Please note that delivery times quoted are based on UK deliveries. Please email us if you are ordering from overseas and wish to know an estimated delivery time or to make any special delivery arrangements (actual shipping cost to be charged).

Carrier Service

Please inspect thoroughly all items as soon as you receive them and before signing for them, to ensure that they have not been damaged in transit. If you see any signs of damage, please make a written note of this with the carrier when you sign for the parcel and notify us immediately by email (within 1 day so that a claim may be made against the carrier company).

Returns

Although Draper's Organic is confident you will be delighted with your purchases from us, we acknowledge that there may be an occasion where an item needs to be exchanged or returned. Please note that, once used, items cannot be returned, unless faulty, so please check all purchases on receipt to ensure they suit your requirement before using. If you should wish to return/exchange an item, we would ask you to follow the following procedure/s within 14 days of receipt:

Please advise by email, in the first instance, before returning any item, so we know to expect your return and can give return address instructions, if the parcel weighs 2+kgs (it may be cheaper to split into two parcels if you ordered items weighing 2+kgs, so they can still be sent via normal post). Please obtain a Proof of Postage Certificate from your Post Office when sending any returns or exchanges back to us. We recommend that you use their insured Sign For delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost or damaged on return to us. Please check that the service used, if not using Royal Mail, will deliver to a PO Box, before sending to avoid the parcel being returned to you or being lost.

For International Orders - If being sent back from outside of the UK you must ensure the words RETURNED GOODS are written on the Customs declaration for Drapers Organic to receive your return. Method of return and any associated customs declaration is the customer's responsibility. Please contact us in the first instance, for confirmation of return address and details.

Cooling Off Period

If you wish to return any item, please send it to us in its original, saleable condition (unused, unwashed, with its original labels and packaging intact and reuseable) within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (less the shipping costs). Please ensure your contact details are included with any returns, which should be securely packaged to protect them in transit and should be received by us within 14 days of the delivery date to you. Please email us in the first instance so that we know to expect the return and can confirm receipt. Please note that we cannot be responsible for postage costs. If we do not receive the item back from you we may arrange for collection of the item from your delivery address at your cost. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note that fabric cannot be returned, as this is cut to customer specification. If unsure, please order a swatch/es or sample to check suitability, before placing your order.

Please note that, once used, items cannot be returned, unless faulty.

Exchanges

Draper's Organic will be happy to exchange any item if it is returned in its original, saleable condition (unused, unwashed, with its original labels and packaging intact) within 14 days from your receipt date. Please contact us in the first instance to advise your exchange details and to receive return instructions, as necessary. Please ensure your contact details and exchange requirements are also included with the item/s, which should be securely packaged to protect them in transit. Please note that we cannot exchange used or customer damaged goods (customers statutory rights are not affected). Please note that we cannot be responsible for postage costs. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us, where we shall do our best to help.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Draper's Organic do carry out quality control, however, in the unlikely event that an item is faulty or has been sent incorrectly, please return it within 14 days from your receipt date. Reasonable return and original delivery postage costs will be reimbursed in full, once the order details and item have been agreed. Please contact us by email or in writing in the first instance to advise us of the problem. If an exchange of a faulty or incorrect item is requested, Draper's Organic will cover the reasonable replacement postage costs once the item and claim have been agreed.

Please obtain a Proof of Postage Certificate from your Post office when sending any returns or exchanges. We recommend that you use their insured Sign For delivery service as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost on return to us.

Item Descriptions

Please note that although we believe all product descriptions to be correct, it is possible that discrepancies may occur from time to time. Although actual product images are displayed, please be aware that the colour/s may differ to how they appear on your monitor.
